MOSER-STYLE DECANTER
Moser-style green decanter with multi-colored, enameled design on both sides. One side has a multi-color floral design. The other side shows a knight on his white horse. There is a white circle around the knight and horse which contains the following words in a script-style(as well as I can make them out): "Joann (or Toann) et Forum Sanctus Georsus Patrunus Equitum et." There is white enamel detailing on the top of the lid finial, on the lid, around the neck of the decanter and a band of white enamel dots above the gold band at the base. It has pie-crust crimping on the sides and pewter on the lid. The enameled design is very high quality. This is a very rare piece. Scratched into the pewter, underneath side of the lid, is "1869 A Moser." The piece is in excellent condition. There is one small (about 1/8 to 3/16 inch) shallow chip on the inside of the base at the bottom edge.
