STILL LIFE PAINTING BY RUDY RUSHE This original oil on canvas is entitled "The Counselor" and was painted by Rudy Rushe. Canvas size is 20 x 24 inches. Framed it is 29-1/4 x 33-1/2 inches. It is framed in a beautiful gilt wood and plaster frame. The painting is signed by the artist in the lower right corner and has a brass plate identifying the painting and artist. The painting is in very good condition. The frame has a small chip on the left side.
 

ORIGINAL TEMPERA PAINTING BY VIVES-ATSARA Wonderful small, floral painting by Jose Vives-Atsara. The medium is tempera. It is framed under glass and measures 8-1/4 x 5-1/2 inches. The frame is 3/8 inches wide. It is signed Vives-Atsara '66. It is in excellent condition.
 

OIL ON CANVAS, J. BRAGOLIN This painting by J. Bragolin is of a young girl with tears. Bragolin lived in Florence Italy and was famous for portraits with tears. It is an oil on canvas. The canvas size is 27 x 19 inches. The gilt wood frame is 39 x 30 inches.

This is from the Dutch Masters School. The title is Moeder en kindje in een Interieur. It has a companion painting, Grandmother and Child. The painting was purchased in Amsterdam from Roelofs Art Gallery and has the Roelof's label and wax seal on the back.

It is from the Dutch Masters School. The title is Vrouwtje in Interieiur met Houtvuur. It was purchased in Amsterdam from Roelof's Art Gallery and has the Roelof's label and wax seal on the back.
 

ORIGINAL OIL ON WOOD, VAN ELVEN This original oil on wood is a cathedral scene entitled Kerkinterieur met Figuren. It is by J.B. Tetar van Elven, 1805 - 1889. The painting is 21 inches x 16 inches. The gilt wod frame is 30-1/2 x 25-1/2 inches. The painting was purchased in Amsterdam from Roelof's Art Gallery and has the Roelof's label and wax seal on the back.

It is a companion painting to another painting listed which is of the woman crocheting. It was purchased in Amsterdam from Roelof's Art Gallery and has the Roelof's label and wax seal on the back.

The painting is titled "Romantisch ineterieur met Moeder en Kindje." It was purchased in Amsterdam from Roelof's Art Gallery and has the Roelof's label and wax seal on the back.
 

LANDSCAPE, PEOPLE BY STREAM, OIL ON CANVAS This is an original oil on canvas landscape. The signature is difficult to read so I will give my best guess and a picture of the signature is provided. I believe it is Otto, Otter or Omar Munchen. The canvas size is 23-3/4 x 31-1/2 inches. Framed size is 29-1/2 x 37-1/2 inches. It has a gilt wood frame. The frame and painting are in very good condition. I am researching the artist and will provide additional information as obtained.
 

LIMITED EDITION LITHOGRAPH BY BENTON This is a limited edition, signed original lithograph by Thomas Hart Benton. It is entitled "Threshing." Benton was born in 1889 and began his art training at sixteen at the Art Institute of Chicago. He is represented by works in the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Brooklyn Museum, Whitney Museum of American Art, New School for Social Research, and a mural History of Indians. This lithograph is in very good condition although it does have some light foxing (small brown spots). It has not been removed from the framing for inspection. The frame is 15 x 18-1/2 inches. The sight size is 10-1/4 x 14-3/4 inches.
 

SIGNED ORIGINAL LITHOGRAPH BY ADOLPH DEHN This is a signed, original, limited edition lithograph by Adolph Dehn entitled "R.F.D." Dehn was born in Minnesota in 1895 and was a pupil of the Minnesota Art School and the Art Students League of New York. He is represented in the principal museums of the world, including the British Museum, Metropolitan Museum of Art and Minneapolis Museum. The lithograph is in very good condition although it does have some light foxing (pinhead-size brown spots). It has archival paper on the back and the lithograph has not been removed for inspection. The frame size is 15 x 18-1/2 inches. The sight size is 11-1/4 x 15 inches. The frame is in excellent condition.
 

PETER MAX ORIGINAL LES MONDRIAN LADIES This painting by Peter Max is entitled Les Mondrian Ladies. It is acrylic over serigraph on paper and measures 30 x 40 inches. It was painted by Max in 1990. It was included in The Peter Max Eastern Europe Museum Tour in 1991 and exhibited at the Hermitage Museum in Leningrad. In 1989 Max traveled to Moscow to paint the huge stage for the Moscow Music Peace Festival. Later he created a series of paintings that honored Soviet freedoms and was invited to have an exhibition in Russia. The exhibit included 25 pieces of his work from the 1960s to 1990s. Peter Max's work is characterized by his use of bold, arbitrary color. His daring, passionate approach to his art has led it being referred to as "Neo-Fauve." This painting is a great example of his bold use of color and very characteristic of his body of work. The painting is framed under glass and is in excellent condition. We have a photograph of the artist with this painting at the Museum in Leningrad which will be included with the painting. A stamp mark showing the painting was at the Moscow museum is on the back.
 

PETER MAX ORIGINAL ACRYLIC ON CANVAS This painting by Peter Max is entitled French Zero's Girlfriend Version3, #2 and was painted in 1989. It is acrylic on canvas and measures 48 x 60 inches. It is framed in an white enamel on wood frame. The frame is approximately 3 inches deep and the mat is approximately 3 inches. It is in excellent condition. This painting was included in The Peter Max Eastern Europe Museum Tour in 1991 and exhibited at the Hermitage Museum in Leningrad.
