This amethyst barber bottle is the deep, deep amethyst color. The neck appears to be almost black. At the top of the bulbous area, it has a polished band which creates a matte fnish with an orange enamel design. Below this band, and above it is an enamelled floral deisgn in white and gold. Some of the enamelling is worn. The bottle is 6-3/4 inches tall and about 3-3/4 inches in diameter. It has a concave base with rough pontil. It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. This barber bottle is guaranteed to be old. |
