This is a beautiful presentation sewing pin holder. The center of the pin holder is engraved to Fannie Greene 1921 - 1957. The side of this exceptional piece is repousse done by hand. There is a band of beautifully engraved florals all the way around the holder. There is also expert bead work done in silver on top and bottom of the floral band. The holder measures 4-5/8 inches in diameter and is 1 inch high. Marks: Fisher Sterling weighted 2534. This is a rare item and a great addition to any sewing or silver collection. The holder has small dings on the top and bottom and a few flat dents around the edge of the bottom. |
