This great wood mortar and pestle is 8-1/4 inches tall and 5-1/2 inches in diameter. The pestle is 10 inches long. It is in good condition and has been well used as evidenced by the wear on the top edge of the mortar and bottom portion of the pestle. It has age cracks on the bowl portion and the base, but they do not affect the integrity of the piece. There is a deeper chip on the base and another area that is a shallow chip. Both areas are shown in the photos. This is a great old piece. |
