This oil on wood is of Mother and Child and is entitled Moeder en kindje in Interieur. The painting is 9-1/2 inches x 7 inches. The gilt wood frame is 15 inches x 12-1/2 inches. The artist is Karel van der Tooren of the Dutch Masters School. It is a companion painting to another painting listed which is of the woman crocheting. It was purchased in Amsterdam from Roelof's Art Gallery and has the Roelof's label and wax seal on the back. |
