| This is a magnificent oak office or filing cabinet. It is 81 inches tall; 52-3/4 inches wide; 24-3/8 inches deep (counter top); and 35-3/8 inches tall at the counter level. The bottom and top both have roll-up fronts and both lock. It has the original brass label which reads: Ohmer File Case Co., M. Ohmer's Sons Propr's Dayton USA. Patented Feb 8, 87, July 16, 89 Other Patents Applied For. It still has its original pull handles and escutcheons with both keys. The locking mechanism has been replaced. As you can see, the upper portion has filing spaces or cubbies and the lower portion has one shelf. It is in excellent condition. The slats on the back of the roll portion were professionally repaired and work perfectly. This piece is not only wonderfully decorative but very functional. It is a real treasure! |
