| This is a great vintage mesh bag painted in yellow, turquoise and orange. It has tiny chain fringe and an enamel medallion on the front. It is lined with a silky fabric. The clasp is firm and works well. It has a push-button release. Inside the bag is a card which identifies it as a "New Process" Hand Bag. The patent numbers are listed. It states that the enamel is guaranteed not to chip off. Dampness or salt water will not effect the gloss or smoothness of the bag. "Beware of Imitations None genuine unless "Mandalian" appears on frame. Originators of these Enamel Bags." Mandalian Mfg Co is impressed in the metal top on the interior. It is in very good condition. There are a few places where the enamel is worn from the mesh (near the bottom). There appears to be 1 or 2 links of fringe missing. The lining fabric is worn. The interior has a small pocket. Dimensions: 4-3/8 inches wide and 9-1/4 inches from the peak of the handle to the tip of the fringe. Very Nice!! |
