Beautiful Victorian half-tester bed - perfect for a bed and breakfast. It has reed and turned end posts; raised paneling on foot board. Burl veneer. Dimensions: 7-1/2 feet tall; footboard is 40" tall; finials hanging from the tester are about 5 inches diameter; 50-1/2 inches between finials on top of footboard. Condition: The bed has been refinished and is in very good condition. There are, however, some small cracks, nicks etc. which are to be expected. They are: small piece of veneer missing on top of footboard about 4-1/4 inch long and 1/4 inch wide at widest part tapering to point; small nicks on edge of finials; small piece of molding missing on finial, top left; long running crack on bottom section of footboard; 4-1/4 crack on top molding on side rail; molding missing around back of top back bed post. The small nicks and cracks do not detract from the beauty of this bed. The posts at the back of the bed supporting the tester are plain and probably not original to the bed.
